I am loving the fact that Melissa McCarthy was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her hilarious role as Megan in “Bridesmaids”. Well deserved! Oh, and kudos to McCarthy’s co-star Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo for their nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Yay! Okay, got a little off topic there for a bit, sorry. Just very excited to see “Bridesmaids” recognized. Anyhoo, in today’s edition of celebrity birthdays, a former “Fresh Prince” star turned soap actress turns 33, “Shaggy” is 42 and a “Don’t Know Much” Neville brother is 71. Guess who? Happy Birthday, Mischa Barton! “The O.C.” actress is 26 years old today. Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of Mischa this year, filming has begun on yet another horror flick she has been tapped to star in, “I Will Follow You Into The Dark”, and she recently completed filming “Apartment 1303: 3D”. “Into the Darkness” is scheduled for a 2013 release.
